    About Hartzell Air Movement

In 1927, Hartzell Air Movement engineered the first propeller fan to provide ventilation for their facility in Piqua, Ohio. Ever since, the Hartzell name has represented industry leading engineering and manufacturing of air movement equipment that has helped propel the HVAC industry to where it is today.

Environments heavily laden with particles the size of dust up to solid chunks of wood, along with varying degrees of stickiness, corrosion, and toxicity, makes for a tough environment in which to operate. An improperly selected fan in terms of wheels, class, construction, or strength of materials can result in catastrophic, life-threatening failure.

Hartzell leads the way by exceeding the demanding ventilation requirements commonly found in industries such as water and wastewater, chemical, heavy industry, energy, marine, pulp and paper, and food processing. They offer a full line of AMCA certified fiberglass fans (FRP) to meet the ventilation demands of even the most corrosive environments.

Hartzell excels in designing, building and applying the right fans and equipment for the toughest environments so that you don’t have to worry about your facility’s air movement. Choosing Hartzell means choosing unmatched levels of reliability and durability. They are so sure their products will out-perform industry standards that they created the industry’s first ever five-year warranty on their fan lines. All you have to do is register your product on Hartzell’s website after your purchase, and you and your product are covered.
